Cloud and the Democratization of Developer Platforms

A new generation of Cloud Platforms are emerging which are unlocking innovative application development models and attractive deployment options. These self-service capabilities are truly democratizing IT and allowing small teams to create a new generation of software solutions quickly and cheaply. We will examine new capabilities on the Microsoft Azure platform such as Machine Learning, Media Services and new models for building distributed high-scale computing applications. We’ll show some demos, and explain how software start-ups can access these capabilities today via the Microsoft BizSpark program.
